Joes studio and caught in another nap

Joe has a new studio downtown Roanoke so he can show some of his artwork. I have not been there yet, but Leah went down the other day when he was working on it, and snapped a couple shots. I believe the studio is a place where Joe can work on his art and at the same time the public are allowed to come in and view his work while he is there.
The other picture on here is where Leah caught me and Noah taking a nap together. Leah is getting pretty good at catching us napping, but you just have to adjust your schedule around his, and sleep when he does. I was at work yesterday and one of the Captains grandkids came to visit and I found out he was born the exact same day as Noah, but this kid weighed around 18lbs. Noah probably weighs around 12-14lbs and looked so small compared to him.

Internet problems

Here are a couple shots of Mr Noah that I got today as we were hanging out. Noah is starting to really show his personality now and it is funny to watch him. He is smiling and really following you with his eyes now. He will just stare at you and sometimes he will just laugh at you.
He still hasn't figured out totally that you are suppose to sleep at night, but he is doing better and we are working w/ him.
Sorry that it has been a while since I last posted, but we were having internet problems here at the house. Now that it appears to be fixed I will back to posting regularly and keeping up w/ the little squirt as he keeps growing like a weed.

Great Granddads visit

These are some of the shots from the other day at Mom's house. The one picture shows four generations from my Granddad to Mom, me and than Noah. In the one picture you can all of us playing cards and unfortunately yours truly did not do so well. We always play a game called Knock and I believe Aunt Shelda won one, and Aunt Barbara won the other. Even though Dad would tell you he is the best player there and he just wasn't able to catch cards.

Great Granddad visits from Mississippi

Great Granddad w/ Noah
Yesterday was a very special day for all of us because Noah was able to finally meet his Great Granddad from MS. This is a video that a got yesterday of them hanging out together w/ Mom. They were only in for one day so we spent most of Saturday visiting w/ family. Granddad was drove up here by my Aunt Barbara and Aunt Shelda. They left to go back early this morning and we hope that the next time we get together will be the week after Xmas. As long as I am on the same shift at work that I am now we will try to go down and visit them and show off little Noah to everyone down there.
I think Granddad was very pround of Noah and he really seemed to take a liking to him. As always Granddad told us a lot of stories and I believe I could sit around all day and listen to him tell them. It is really something to listen to how everything was so different back when he was young and how so many things have changed since than. I wish they could have stayed longer, but they needed to get back home and we are just glad they were able to come and visit.

Father/Son nap

Leah caught me and Noah taking a afternoon nap the other day. I thought the best way to show Noah how to catch a good nap was to show him first hand. I have learned that you have to get your sleep when you can since we are completly on Noahs schedule. I am sure that this is just one of many naps to come in our future.
My Granddad will be in to visit this weekend and we will be going up to Cburg for the day tomorrow to visit. We are so excited about Noah meeing his Great-Granddad and we know little Noah is also excited, but he just isn't able to say it yet.

Noah Smiling for the camera

Noah Smiling

Here is a video of little Noah smiling yesterday for the camera. He is really starting to interact more and seems to be really able to focus on things now. He will follow you around w/ his eyes and smile and laugh when you tickle him. He actually is starting to sleep a lot longer at night as well, and that sure makes things easier. He is sleeping anywhere from 5 to 7 hours a night on average, but sometimes we still have those 2-3 three hours a night naps. He is really starting to get a personality too and its a lot of fun to watch him try so hard to talk.

Noah hanging out w/ friends at the office

Here are a couple shots of Mr. Noah hard at work in the office. Finally got a shot of him in his cool sunglassess and he thinks he is the stuff when he is wearing them. Noah is really starting to smile a lot now, and he even sometimes acts like he is trying so hard to talk. I think sometimes he is getting ready to say something, but he just makes some noises and smiles. He is growing so fast now and when you lay him on his stomach he works so hard to crawl so I do not believe it will be long before we will have to keep him on a leash.
My Granddad will be coming in this week and I can not wait for him to be able to hold and meet Noah. I know he is excited about coming in to visit, but the only bad thing is they are only coming in for 3 days. I wish they were able to stay longer, but I can't complain since they are driving all the way up from Mississippi. So that means of the three days they are travling two of them which leaved little time to actually visit. So we will have to enjoy the time we have and take a lot pictures. Hopefully we will get to take Noah and visit everyone in Mississippi sometime in the future so everyone will get to meet him.

Noah at work with Texann

Texann is the collections manager at the office, but not only does she take care of all the billing but she helps keep Mr Noah while he is working w/ Mom. This is normal site at the office with Texann on the phone, computer, and working while she is still able to rock Noah with her feet. She is the definition of someone who is able to multi-task. I think everyone at the office like to spoil Noah while at the office, and can you blame the boy, he has a office full of women kissing and hugging all over him. He is starting early as a ladys man, and he already has learned all he has to do is start crying and someone will pick him up and spoil him.
We are really lucky that Leah is able to take Noah to work w/ her, and that everyone there is so nice in helping out. It helps us out greatly and hopefully Noah is not causing to many problems while he is at work. Everyone at the office seems to enjoy Noah being there, and it is like family their now with everyone.

Surprise lunch for Dr Nana

Some of the sneaky office staff decided to surprise Diane for lunch. They got together a couple weeks ago and had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. They all had a good time and were able to spend some time together other than at work.
I was at the office today and Nana had Noah smiling and laughing from ear to ear. I wish I had my camera so I could have got a couple shots but its battery was dead. Nana is able to get him to smile and laugh more than anyone else that I have seen, and next time I promise I will have a camera ready.
Noahs last Dr's visit he weighed almost 11 pounds and everything looked good according to the doctor. He is still waking up between 4 and 5 hours every night to feed, but every once in a while he will sleep 6 or 7 hours, and that is very nice.

More Allison/Daniel Wedding Shots

Here are a couple more shots from the wedding this past weekend. It seems like yesterday since Leah and I got married, and it is hard to believe that we have been married for over 4 years now. All I can say is time does go by fast, and before we know it, Noah will be in high school.
We took Noah back to the doctor yesterday for his 2 month appointment and everything was as expected. While he was there he was given 4 shots and let me tell you he was not a happy camper, but Leah gave him some milk right after and he was fine. I might have to try that next time I get a shot, and see if it makes me forget about the needle.

Allison and Daniel's wedding

Here are a couple shots from the wedding this past weekend in TN. It looks like a beautiful place and I wish I would have been able to make it to see it in person. I was able to see some of it from the video and pictures that Diane and Joe took and it looks like all that were there had a good time. Congratulations to Allison and Daniel and we all wish you the best.

Noahs first wedding and smile

Noah traveled to TN this weekend w/ Leah to attend Alison's wedding. Leah said that little Noah was on pretty good behavior and he did very well on the ride down and back. She said the wedding was nice and it also went very smooth. They were able to visit w/ family most of Saturday before having to hit the road to come home. I am not sure where this picture was taken, but I believe Leah got it while Joe was holding him. Leah said Noah was smiling a lot when Joe was holding him and I wonder if that was cause he is his favorite person to use the restrooom on. I was glad to hear that everything went smooth at the wedding and I know Frank is a proud father.
We have been trying now for a while to get a picture of Noah smiling, and I thought it would never happen. I hate that I missed it, but I am glad Leah was able to catch it on film. This is the only picture that Leah sent me today, but I hope she got some of the wedding so I can post them on here. I will try to get those on here in the next couple days.

Noah is out of the state

Leah and Noah are visiting TN for a couple days to attend a famiy wedding. Leahs cousin Alison which is Uncle Franks daughter got married today. Congrats to the bride and groom and hopefully everything went smooth w/ no problems. I had to work today so I was unable to make it, but Leah's family including her brothers, and parents did.
This was going to be Noahs longest trip so far in a car and I have yet to talk to Leah to see how he did, and I hope he cooperated during the wedding.
I am working tonight until about 11 and than I should be able to retire. I bought a couple lottery tickets tonight and I should win over 100 million dollars so that should be enough to go on and retire early. I am not really sure if I would retire if I actually did win, but it would hard to not walk away from work.

Little Noah being oh so sweet

Noah throwing a fit

I picked up Noah today from the office and when I left he was doing great. By the time I got him home and settled in he decided it was time to vent some anger. I could not get him to settle down for around 2 hours w/ constant crying and screaming. I tried feeding him, changing him, burping, holding, rocking, and just about anything else I could think of. He did not seem to care what I did, and after I was about to just give up and let him cry he decided it was enough and he fell asleep on my chest. I was afraid to move than cause I didn't want to wake the little maniac back up so I let him sleep for quite a while. After he woke up from his nap he seemed to be back to normal and I guess he was just cranky and I was the lucky one to catch all of it. I had to film him to show everyone how he was going nuts and all I could do was laugh at him. Everything is back to normal now and Leah is home so he will be on his best behavior.

Noah visits Nana in Stuart

Noah got to visit his Nana yesterday in Stuart and see where she works. We snuck down yesterday and with the help of the staff of the hospital we were put in a room as a patient. Nana was told their was a 2 month old w/ a fever that needed to be seen and when she came into the room she found Noah waiting for her. We went out to lunch and introduced Noah to all of the staff where he was very popular. We took a couple photos while we were there, and the other shot is of BFUC(Bedford FamilyUrgent Care). These are Nana's homes away from homes, and where she spends her time when she is not at home. Kiwi and I flew over the office a couple days ago and I was able to snap a couple shots of it. This was Noahs longest trip in a car in which he did great and slept the entire time in the car. He is also starting to sleep a little longer at night and this is nice since we get to sleep a little more as well.

Leah and Noah

Here are a couple pics I got yesterday of Leah and Noah at the Funny Farm. They were both just hanging out and I believe Noah got his first taste of ice cream which he liked a lot. Mom and Shaun were eating strawberry ice cream and he was able to sweet talk them into giving him a little taste. I guess we will have to get him back on his regular diet so he doesn't expect ice cream every day. Leah has to work all day tomorrow so it looks like it will be father son bonding time again. It is usually a pretty fun filled day of craziness when we are left alone together and we have a good time. We both might even head over to the Funny Farm tomorrow afternoon since right now it looks like we might have some good flying weather for tomorrow. I don't believe Noah will be going up tomorrow, but maybe one day he will get to fly w/ Dad and enjoy the views.

Noah's Crib

Noah's Crib

This is Noah in his new crib at Nana and Papa's house. I believe by the look that he really likes it. Now when he stays at the Funny Farm he will have his own private crib to sleep in. He is so spoiled by everyone and he is eating it up. Sorry this was taken w/ the older camera and their is no sound w/ it. Hopefully from now on all the videos will be taken w/ the newer cameras so you will be able to hear him.
Lately Noah has been sleeping really good at night, and he gets between 4 and 5 hours at a time. We can not believe how much he is eating at every feeding sometimes almost 6 ounces. I think he has his Daddy's appetite w/out question. I guess we will both have to take on second jobs just to pay the grocery bill once he gets older.
Noah is starting to really follow you w/ his eyes when you are in front of him. It is pretty neat to watch him and know that he is able to see us. He is smiling a lot more often as well, yet I still do not have a good picture of him doing it, but I am working on it.

Noah's Travels

This is a couple shots I found on the camera of Noahs travels. I am still not really sure why we have a picture of his feet, but I thought it was pretty funny. I guess it was his first time to wear shoes. Mom wanted to get a picture of her w/ Noah and her favorite pet Rusty. This is the only type of animal allowed in their house since it doesn't shed or make any kind of mess. The other one is of Noah at Nana's house styling in his new crib. Nana and Papa bought Noah a new bed to crash in when he visits the Funny Farm.

Noahs first trip to Cburg

We finally took Noah to my parents house today. Noah did really good on the way up, but he actuallly does very well riding in the car. He hung out and as always was spoiled by my parents in every way. We had a good time and ended up staying for dinner and most of the afternoon. I know my Mom hates to let Noah go, and I believe she would like to keep him so she could hold him for 24 hours a day. I shot some short video clips while we were up there, and I will be putting them on here hopefully tomorrow.
Tomorrow it will be just Noah and I home alone since Leah has to work all day. I hope he will behave a little nicer tomorrow than he did today, but I am sure we will make it alright.

Noah w/ Grandmama at Nana's office

Noah

Last week Noah went to the office to see where his Mom and Nana spend all their time working. I am not really sure what happened to the sound on this video, all I know is it is missing. We are going to head up to Christiansburg today to do some visiting. We are having some terrible weather due to the tropical storm passing through.
Little Mr. Noah was very fussy last night and this morning. He will lay down for about a 30 minute nap and than it is fussy time, and when it is that time no one gets to rest. Hopefully he will get it all out of his system today and by tonight he will be back to normal.
